It is very important to make sure your tree is staked. The reason for staking your tree is stop the roots from rocking. The head of the tree does not need strapping. It can move in the wind.
In order to do this you will need a stake and a strap. The strap needs to be check periodically to ensure its not cutting into the trunk of the tree.

This is commonly called Katsura tree. It is a deciduous, relatively fast-growing, small to medium sized tree. It's pendulous branches create a broad, weeping shape and boast heart-shaped leaves which turn pink and orange in autumn.
