It is very important to make sure your tree is staked. The reason for staking your tree is stop the roots from rocking. The head of the tree does not need strapping. It can move in the wind.
In order to do this you will need a stake and a strap. The strap needs to be check periodically to ensure its not cutting into the trunk of the tree.

Ginkgo 'Menhir' is of special interest as it is very narrow. Its column shape and its reduced width allow it to be planted in rows or individually, in public parks as well as in smaller gardens.
Its growth is vigorous and robust from an early age on.
The fairly serrated leaves are of a blue shade of green-grey. Their golden-yellow tint in autumn is long-lasting.
